Hear ye, hear ye!
Re-bonjour Fenia, and welcome back to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I am so glad you came back to ask us this magical question, and I am honoured to be a part of such a special occasion. Your lovely message truly warmed my heart! There is also no better place to celebrate your birthday than at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially during the World's Most Magical Celebration!
There are many ways to celebrate your princess's birthday, and it can start even inside your Resort hotel room!
Disney Floral & Gifts is a service that allows you to have decorations delivered to your room seven days a week. Since we Canadians have limited space in our luggage when travelling, this would be a great option if you would like your room to be decked out for the occasion. Then, no birthday celebration is complete without a "Happy Birthday" button! These complimentary buttons can be found at the front desk of your Resort, most merchandise locations and even Guest Relations windows. That way, all the other Cast Members and Guests will be able to join in on the birthday celebration! Lastly, as Rapunzel herself told me on my birthday, birthday celebrations require some birthday cake. And thankfully, the Walt Disney World Resort has some of the best desserts ever! For a special birthday cupcake or treat, I recommend stopping by the
Main Street Confectionery.
Now, let's talk about all the offerings her royal highness will be able to enjoy on her birthday. One of my favourite things to do when visiting the theme parks is meeting my favourite princesses. Over at the
Princess Fairytale Hall, your princess will be able to meet Cinderella, Elena of Avalor, Rapunzel and Tiana, though some of their friends might also come to join! In addition,
Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade and Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire include even more of your favourite princesses, such as Belle, Anna and Elsa and Ariel. All showtimes can be found online, so I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience mobile app! To feel like a true princess, I would also strongly recommend looking into the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or the
Sir Mickey's boutique behind the Cinderella Castle. Since the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is currently unavailable, Sir Mickey's is a good alternative as it includes lots of souvenirs perfect for a princess, but keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World website for any updates! To immortalize this moment, make sure to look around the Cinderella Castle for a PhotoPass Cast Member. And lastly, when at Sir Mickey's, ask one of the Cast Members to get pixie-dusted! In my opinion, being a princess means lots of sparkles, and pixie-dust does just that. There is truly no better way to add some extra magic to your day, and I love getting pixie-dusted even as a 23-year-old!
I hope this was helpful, your royal highness Fenia, and that you and your princess will have the most memorable celebration on your upcoming trip to the Magic Kingdom. If you or anyone from your kingdom have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always at your service!
Have a magical day,
Princess Ariane
