Hi Karen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! This is a great question, because while you're on vacation and do deserve
some treats, it's good to keep a balance between the sweets and Mickey-shaped goodies with good, nutritious and substantial meals. Menus that list the calories of their items can be found at some
Disney Dining Locations; your best bets for these would be at the locations in Disney Springs. Should you need the caloric notes or ingredients list due to dietary concerns or restrictions, you are more than welcome to reach out to
Disney's Special Diets Team at
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com.
I feel like my family hasn't had a problem with finding delicious choices on the lighter end of the calorie spectrum. I love the salmon and vegetable combo at
Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom Park, as well as the protein packed brown rice bowls at
Satu'li Canteen in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. Also, almost every Quick-Service and Table-Service restaurant offer
Disney Check Kids' Meals, which when ordered without substitutions features at least three of the following: lean proteins, whole servings of fruits and/or vegetables, whole grains and low fat dairy. These meals are also curated to be conscious of their amounts of sodium, sugar and saturated fat.
I hope this helped, Karen, and We'll See You Real Soon!
~Kristen
