Is there a menu for Top of the World lounge? I know it is small snacks and drinks but is there a menu? Also how early do we need to get there if we want to have drinks, snacks and watch the fireworks. Our date is Sept. 24th. Thank you for all your help

    Hi Nikki!

Bay Lake Tower’s Top of the World Lounge offers a breathtaking view of the Magic Kingdom, and is a great location to enjoy Wishes firework spectacular without the crowds of Main Street, U.S.A. The lounge is only available to Disney Vacation Club Members who are currently staying at the Walt Disney World Resort using their Vacation Points. Be sure to bring your Disney Vacation Club Membership Card and your Magic Band in order to be allowed up to the lounge.

The snack menu at the Top of the World Lounge is limited, as drinks are truly their specialty. To my knowledge, Disney does not officially publish the menu. I am a big fan of Allears.net as a great resource for menus, photos and information about almost anything at Walt Disney World. I did find a menu for Top of The World Lounge from May 2015 there, and although the menu may have changed, it may at least give you an idea of what to expect. In May they were offering a BLT (heehee, get it… Bay Lake Tower = BLT) flatbread, soft pretzels and dip, a shrimp salsa, and a slider sandwich, as well as a layer cake for dessert.

On September 24, 2015, Wishes is scheduled to show at 9 P.M. Please keep in mind that this can always change, especially in the event of inclement weather. I would recommend arriving at the Lounge between 7 P.M. and 7:30 P.M.  in order to have time to relax, unwind and enjoy a snack and beverage before the show. Do keep in mind that access to the lounge is limited to a maximum number of guests and entrance is never guaranteed. Since you are near the water, I also recommend insect repellent for the outside deck area.

It sounds like you have some great plans in the works for your upcoming vacation. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

    Wishing you Membership Magic!
