you mentioned you had to show c.members your reservations before going to Riviera for breakfast to board the skyliner… where were you boarding that they had you do that? We stayed at C.beach last time and were able to use riviera skyliner, has that changed

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome back to planDisney! It's so nice to hEAR from you again!

Yes! That did happen, but on the very same day, I also rode the Disney Skyliner back to Disney's Riviera Resort from EPCOT and no one asked to see my dining reservation. If I remember correctly, we caught the bus from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then used the Skyliner to get to our 8:30 a.m. breakfast reservation at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera.

In hindsight, I believe our morning experience had to do with the timing of our dining reservation, the operational hours of the Skyliner (it might have just opened as we were trying to board), and the crowds at the time of our visit. After we shared our dining reservation information, the Cast Members let us board the Skyliner immediately. So, they may have been helping us to get to our reservation quickly. Let me say, however, I did not ask them why they asked. We were focused on getting to breakfast on time, so we just followed instructions!

Since you are staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I do know that Guests have often walked over from there to use the Disney Skyliner Station at Disney's Riviera Resort. When you arrive, I would suggest that you check with Cast Members to get a sense of crowds for the Disney Skyliner at both stations during certain parts of the day. Since you have stayed there before, though, it sounds like you are good to go!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort holds special memories for my husband and me. We stayed there for the first time for a conference a decade ago and gathered information while there to plan for our girls' first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. The resort was beautiful then and is even more gorgeous now. When I last visited, we had lunch at Sebastian's Bistro and it was just lovely. If you get a chance, make advanced dining reservations there and take a day to relax at the resort hotel.

Ashley, I hope this helps! I am so excited that you get to stay at this beautiful resort. Keep your eyes on the operational updates since policies and procedures could change and additional theme park experiences could be reopened by the time of your visit. We are so excited to see you returning to a world of magic!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
