You mention Fort Wilderness in your profile. I have 2 kids, ages 8 and 7, who want to see the movies at Fort Wilderness and roast marshmallows. We are staying at the cabins there. When is that offered & what should I plan for that night?

    Hi Paul,

Indeed, annual visits to Fort Wilderness Campground have a special place among my childhood memories. Thanks for writing!

The cabins are a wonderful venue to call "home" while on vacation at Walt Disney World, and are equipped with a fully-stocked kitchen, a spacious living room and dining area and separate bedroom.    In addition, you'll have your own private porch with a barbeque and picnic table that makes a great spot to enjoy a family meal.

The Chip n' Dale Campfire Sing-Along takes place nightly, weather permitting at 7pm behind the Meadow Trading Post.  You are welcome to bring along your own s'mores supplies, or you can purchase them at the event.  Currently, a s'mores kit costs $5.  You can also purchase marshmallows and sticks.  After the sing-along, during which Chip n' Dale usually make an appearance, a Disney classic film will follow on an outdoor screen.  The Sing-along is a wonderful, family event that my boys rank among their Disney favorites.  I hope your family enjoys it as well!

    Happy planning!
