Do men run the princess 1/2? This year the website seems even more focused for women with only women prizes. Would a man feel totally out of place and possible better off to run the 1/2 marathon in January? Thank you!

Hi Amanda!  Men are absolutely welcome to run in the Princess.  My husband ran it with me in 2010 and he had a great time.  (I think that being THAT outnumbered by women may have had something to do with his fun!)

The race is focused more towards women, but there will probably be over a thousand males running too.  It's always fun to see them on the course, especially when they are in costume.  You will see Peter Pans, Prince Charmings, Mickeys, and even a few weird-looking princesses!

Both races are really fun, so choose which works best for you schedule!

Let me know if you have any other questions!!
