Is Memory Maker worth buying? I love the idea of it, but not sure if it'll just be another line we'll have to wait in... Wondering if someone has personal experience using it. Thanks!

Hi Amy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love Memory Maker because I don't have to carry around my fancy camera, and I can be in all of our family pictures. I also don't like 'selfies' because my arms are short so I never quite get the shot I want. With Memory Maker you can go to as many Disney PhotoPass photographers as you want in the parks and get your family photos taken. The Disney PhotoPass photographers do a great job and always add in fun poses. I also love that attraction photos are included because I have taken some really amusing group photos with some of my fellow Panelists, and every time I look at them it makes me laugh.

I definitely think that Memory Maker is worth every penny, but whether or not it is worth it for your family depends on how much you value photographs and documenting your vacation. If you normally do not take many photos and you only want a few to remember your trip, you can bring your own camera and ask a Disney PhotoPass photographer to take your picture. As far as lines go, sometimes you will have to wait in a line for a Disney PhotoPass photographer, especially if you want the classic Main Street U.S.A. family photo with Cinderella's Castle in the background. However, there have been many times that I have spotted a lonely Disney PhotoPass photographer and spent a good five minutes doing different poses and having my own personal photo shoot. The wait depends on the crowd level and where you are getting your photo taken.

I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions please feel free to stop by. Have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
