Kyle Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Does memory maker link when I arrive to Disney? I can see my linked ticket includes memory maker but I'm not sure it's link because I can still buy it so I'm really confused. Thanks Kyle

Get ready to smile, Kyle. Not just because I'm going to answer your question but because the Disney magic is going to be captured throughout your vacation through Memory Maker for you to reflect on for years to come!

If you purchased Memory Maker, you can likely see it in My Disney Experience. Simply select "My Plans" from the My Disney Experience dropdown menu, scroll down, and click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" heading. You should see Memory Maker listed there. Once your first photos have been taken at the resort, you can activate this service. To do this, open the My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner, scroll down, and select "Photo Gallery." From here, tap a photo and follow the prompts to activate it. Just note that sometimes, it takes more than one click on the photo to bring up the prompt to activate it.

The reason Memory Maker can still be purchased after you have already purchased it is likely because some people have multiple trips planned, and they want the option to purchase it for each of their trips. This, too, has confused me in the past. But don't let it scare you. Just look to your confirmation email and My Disney Experience to confirm it for you.

Another thing to note is that while Guests connected to you through the My Family & Friends List will be able to see the photos that have been taken (as long as you have permitted them), theirs will have a watermark over them. If you'd like to share these photos with them, you'll just have to download them and then share them! This usually includes pictures that they have taken without you as well. For example, if they are connected to you and they go to an attraction that takes a photo without you, their photos should still show up in both your account and theirs! But for them to get a copy without the watermark, you'd have to share it with them.

Kyle, I hope that I've cleared up your confusion. And more importantly, I hope you have a wonderful, not-so-spooky visit to the resort full of memories to last a lifetime. Be sure to check out the Halloween treats available at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney Springs, and the resort hotels. And if you see a PhotoPass Cast Member, don't be afraid to ask them to take your picture. They are more than happy to do it!

If you have any other questions, send them my way!

You can't reason with a headless man,
