We have memory maker included with our 14 day ticket. Our tickets are linked to my account in the Disney app but do we need to do anything else to activate memory maker when we visit. Thanks Tomás

    Hi Tomás!
    Welcome to planDisney.

I am very happy to see that you are using our 14-day Magic Tickets for your forthcoming holiday to Walt Disney World, which is just around the corner!  These tickets offer outstanding value, with park hopping, water parks and Memory Maker included.

As you have linked your tickets to your MyDisney account in My Disney Experience, there is no further action to be taken to activate your Memory Maker.

The process is simple.  Whenever you visit a Walt Disney World theme park you will see PhotoPass Photographers all around.  You won't miss their bright green "uniform", usually coupled with a line of guests waiting to be photographed.  To help you locate them, pick up a Park Guide Map on your way into the park, on which their usual spots are marked.  You just need the photographer to scan your MagicBand (or they'll give you a Disney PhotoPass card if you don't have a MagicBand) and then link that to your My Disney Experience account.  MagicBands will link your photos automatically.

For example, refer to this guide map for Magic Kingdom - the symbol is a camera on a tripod - you'll see them all along Main Street U.S.A., and around Cinderella Castle.  You'll also find them over in Frontierland between Tiana's Bayou Adventure and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and at numerous spots in Fantasyland - I love the location just in front of Beast's Castle.  In fact, if you look closely you'll see them everywhere!  Sometimes there are characters; sometimes just iconic backdrops.

Memory Maker provides unlimited digital downloads of any photos taken of you and your group at the theme parks.  It's one of the best ways to have fantastic photos of your entire party.  There have been times when I have seen PhotoPass Photographers wading around the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool and Castaway Creek!!  This is very unusual, but it has happened!

Remember to ask your Photopass Photographer for Magic Shots!  You'll love the special effects added to your photos.  They are also happy to take the same photos for you using your own camera or phone if you wish.

If you are visiting Disney Springs, pop into the PhotoPass Studio (over at the Marketplace) for some more photo opportunities - all included in the price of Memory Maker.

To view and download your photos on your My Disney Experience, click on Photos if you are on the website, or if you are using the app, tap on the “≡” on the bottom right of the screen, then tap "Photos".

Enjoy making magical memories, and please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your holiday to Walt Disney World!
