Hi, Beverly! Thanks for coming back to planDisney! I am thrilled to hear that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World and that you have someone joining you! One of my family's favorite things to do is introduce a loved one to the most magical place on Earth.
I am convinced that
Memory Maker is one of the best values around. You get quality pictures taken by trained photographers throughout your vacation at
over 170 locations! And the best part? YOU get to be in all of the photos, too! (I have returned from too many vacations only to find that I took hundreds of photos, but I'm not actually in any of them.)
I have good news! PhotoPass photographers are more than happy to take multiple photos of your family, both with and without your additional person. Of course, I always try to be aware of whether any other families are waiting, so I can be respectful of their time. Be sure that both you and your guest get your magic bands (or ticket IDs) scanned by each photographer who takes your picture.
If you are interested in getting family portraits done, I highly recommend booking a
Capture Your Moment session. All four of the major theme parks offer this as an
Enchanting Extra. It is a personalized 20-minute session with a PhotoPass photographer. We did this for my daughter's 18th birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. She felt like a princess, and the pictures were so incredible that we used them as her graduation announcements! The photos are not included in the price of the session, but if you have Memory Maker, you can download them at no additional cost!
One more piece of advice: If you haven't already purchased Memory Maker, be sure to do so at least three days before the start of your trip, so you can enjoy the lower price.
I wish you continued success with your trip planning! If you have any more questions, I hope we'll see you back here at
planDisney!
Always Dreaming -
