Are members of the military and their families allowed to visit Disneyland Park after April 30th even if they are not California residents?

    Hi ya, Maria!

It’s so nice to see a fellow Arizonan visiting us at planDisney today, welcome. I’ll be more than happy to help! Let me first begin with a “Thank You”, from my military family to yours! My family loves visiting both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort using military offerings. They are both such a great deal, we can’t stay away from either park.

Unfortunately, only California residents will be able to visit the Disneyland Resort when it opens on April 30, 2021. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement as to what the Disneyland Resort will need as proof of residency, in the past, they have required a government-issued state ID.

Maria, I know it’s hard to wait, but hopefully soon we Arizonans will be able to visit the Disneyland Resort too. In the meantime, I do recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog, as that is where you will find the most up-to-date information about what is happening in the parks.

I hope this helps answer your question, Maria. Please be sure to let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
