Hi Kathiane,
My husband and I have also been members of Disney Vacation Club since 2005! We have made so many wonderful vacation memories in that time.
Yes, July is hot at Walt Disney World! Be sure to stay hydrated! I always pack bottled water in my backpack when heading into the theme parks. In hotter months, I freeze at least one of the bottles so that it keeps the others cold and is icy delicious when I drink it! I also try to plan most of our outside activities earlier in the day or later in the evening, when it will be cooler. To that end, consider making your
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation for early to mid-afternoon. You can experience attractions and walk around outside during the morning. Also, the theme parks tend to be less crowded in the morning, so you should experience shorter wait times for attractions. The early afternoon will be a good time for an air conditioned activity that allows you to sit down! I suggest that you make this reservation ahead of time by calling 407-WDW-STYLE (407-939-7895) as this popular activity can book up quickly.
As to character dining at Walt Disney World, the best choice depends on which characters you would like to meet as well as your culinary tastes. Of course there is always Fairytale Dining at Cinderella Royal Table in Magic Kingdom. You could make a reservation for this opportunity to dine with princesses in Cinderella Castle close to the time you go to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique as they are right next to each other. Another of my favorite character dining experiences is Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, where you can enjoy African and American flavors on a buffet while meeting safari Donald Duck and his friends.
I would love to help you plan more Kathiane; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back with any further questions!
