Hiya Michele,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your dining question! I was just in New York myself recently, so I can only imagine you are counting down those snowy days until you’re trading them for sunny strolls down
Main Street, with a castle view in sight. That’s the best kind of countdown if you ask me!
Now, Michele, let’s jump right into your question. As long as your other family members each have their own
My Disney Experience accounts set up, they will absolutely be able to help book dining reservations when your window opens. This is actually one of my favorite strategies for snagging those hard-to-get reservations, like
Cinderella’s Royal Table or
The Beak and Barrel. My husband and I have used this exact trick before when trying to book
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for our girls and then a princess meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table afterward. Teamwork makes the Disney dream work!
Just remember,
advance dining reservations open 60 days in advance. If you’re staying at a Disney World Resort you can book dining for up to 10 days of your stay starting at that 60-day mark, which can really help when you’re aiming for those popular spots.
Since you’ll be visiting in April, I highly recommend stopping and spending some time at the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. It’s such a beautiful time of year, with the park covered in colorful flowers and incredible character topiaries. Last year, the Moana and Maui topiary display at the front of the park was absolutely stunning; it even lit up! You can also enjoy fresh, flavorful bites from around World Showcase, and don’t miss Butterfly Landing. That’s one of my family’s favorite peaceful little spots in the park, and we have spent hours there.
Michele, I hope this helps you feel ready to tackle those dining reservations with confidence. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
