Welcome to planDisney, Susie! Thanks for swinging by with your questions for us. We’re so glad you’re here!
I’m delighted that your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is coming up really soon, Susie. Now that the theme parks have finally opened up the gates after a long, unexpected closure, I bet you’re more than excited to
return to a land of Magic!
The
Disneyland mobile app is such a handy-dandy Mouseketool, and I’m so glad you asked an awesome question about it! You can use it to check attraction wait times, view restaurant menus, make food and beverage mobile orders and use it as a form of contactless payment. Also, if you’re interested, the very popular and immersive
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance has a virtual queue that is accessible via the Disneyland mobile app.
Susie, other family members are able to use the Disneyland mobile app on their smartphone to access their tickets. Just the other night, I actually shared my husband’s ticket with him, and it was a very simple process. Few weeks ago, I had already purchased theme park tickets and made park reservations for our family of four. I just pulled up the confirmation email with the actual e-tickets (containing barcodes) and had my husband scan his ticket to link to the Disneyland mobile app on his phone. Within a few seconds, he was able to see his ticket and our family’s park reservations on the home page of his Disneyland mobile app. This is convenient because other members in your party can arrive to the theme parks at different times and still able to enter without issues. Just be sure to also share with them the QR code(s) you received after making park reservations.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Susie. If you have more questions on planning your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to
write us again. We’re all EARS!
Have a magical day,
Kiki
