Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. Are you excited?! You’ll be staying at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort in just a few short weeks. There are so many great things about this resort, from the psychedelic theming through the decades to the very groovy Hippy Dippy Pool. Another amazing thing about this resort is that it has access to the
Disney Skyliner, Disney World’s aerial gondola transportation system. These magical gondolas travel to several additional locations:
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort,
Disney’s Riviera Resort,
Disney's Art of Animation Resort,
Hollywood Studios, and of course
EPCOT’s International Gateway.
There are several ways to get to the International Gateway, however ride share services are not permitted to drop guests off at this entrance. If your friend is staying at a
Good Neighbor hotel and they want to meet you, they have a few options:
1. They can take a ride share to the EPCOT front entrance and meet you inside the park. I’d choose a central location like the
Odyssey pavilion or maybe in front of an attraction that you have plans to enjoy.
2. They can take a ride share to either the Walt Disney World
Swan or
Dolphin resorts and walk over to the International Gateway to meet you. This walk will be about 15 minutes. If that’s too long of a walk, they also have the option to use the
water taxi. The Friendship boats stop at a dock located between the Swan and Dolphin hotels and take guests to the International Gateway.
