Hello, Stacey!
Welcome to planDisney with an excellent planning question. I am so happy to hear that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort soon. This is the best time to come and join in the fun of the
50th Anniversary Celebration. The members of your travel party will not want to miss out on one minute of the fun.
When you made your reservations, linked all the theme park admission tickets, and made the park pass reservations for your family, you would have needed to create a profile for anyone who did not already have a My Disney Experience account. Let’s check your
My Family & Friends list to see if you are managing their profile. Check your list to see if it says
Plans Managed by Me or another member of your party. If a friend or family member would like to link the plans you have made for them in their own My Disney Experience accounts, I can help you with that.
First, your friend or family member will need to create their account in My Disney Experience, this can be done online or after installing the mobile app on their smartphone device. Next, you will go to their name on your Family & Friends list and click
Update across from their name. Now, you will click
Share Planning with [their name] and enter the email address they used to create their account. Once they accept your invitation to connect, they will be given the option to link your plans to their account. When they confirm this, all the plans that you have made for them will automagically appear in their account. If their plans are managed by someone else, they will need to follow the steps listed above to link the accounts together. You are officially making plans together. If they would like to connect to anyone else on your list that also manages their account, they can send an invitation to connect by clicking
+Add A Guest select
Find through my connected Guests. If your Family & Friends list is shared, they will be able to find anyone who manages their account.
I recommend that all adults traveling together who manage their accounts, connect with each other’s My Family and Friends list because it makes it easier when selecting Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane experiences. Now is also a good time to make sure that everyone is also sharing
My Disney PhotoPass Photos by checking the box that gives sharing permission. This will allow one person in your party to purchase a
Memory Maker and everyone in your travel party to upload their photos to it. They will be able to download and share all the photos from the entire trip with you and everyone else in your party.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
