Does each member of my party need a form of ID to get into each park each day?

Hi Anne! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your group will be arriving for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation very soon! Yay! It is wise of you to be thinking about all the last-minute details now that you are so close to your trip. That way, when you arrive for your vacation, you can dive right into all the fun!

Based on your previous questions, I know you will have MagicBands on your visit and those will be attached to your Walt Disney World theme park tickets. I can say that I have not ever had to show my photo ID when entering the theme parks before. I have needed to show photo ID when picking up Annual Passes, theme park tickets at Will Call, using Annual Pass and Disney Vacation Club discounts, etc., but not for simply entering the theme park with my MagicBand. Each time you enter the theme parks, you will scan your MagicBand and your fingerprint. Together, this is how Cast Members make sure the same Guest is entering with their specific ticket. It's not a bad idea for Guests ages 18 and over to have a photo ID with them, just in case, but you probably won't need it for entrance to the theme parks.

Enjoy your vacation, Anne! Please continue to visit us with more questions!
