Hello there, Kristan!
One of the things I love most about the Walt Disney World Resort dining options is how incredibly immersive they are. For example, you’ll want to be seated in a comfortable position when Andy decides to visit
Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Whereas at
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, you’ll see theming with The Muppets heading to a local barbecue competition, where Sam Eagle is the judge. They are both so adorable.
Kristan, my sincere apologies, but I spoke with a few Cast Members, and I was not able to find out in a timely fashion what type of wood is used to smoke the food at these dining locations. You’ll need to contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com to request a Special Dietary Request Form. The Special Diets team will assist you with navigating this allergy. I really love that Disney pays such close attention to dietary requests, and I know that they’ll do their best to accommodate you.
I’m not sure if there are any other dietary preferences in your party, but I think it’s so great that the Walt Disney World Resort has such unique plant-based food options. For instance, the
BBQ Jackfruit Burger at Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue sounds amazing, and the texture and flavor sound just like pulled pork. Similarly,
Trixie’s Plant-based Trio at Roundup Rodeo BBQ has such a unique combination of plant-based options, including Combat Carloflower, plant-based Bratwurst, and Rip Roarin’ Rib Chop.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
