    As a member, I would love to allow my friends to stay at my home resort, without me being present, is that possible?

    Hey there, hi there, Ernest! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with such a great Disney Vacation Club question. I just love chatting Disney with a fellow Member!

    One of my favorite things about being a DVC Member is being able to bring family and friends with us on our magical adventures. Before Membership, I never would have been able to treat family and friends to vacations, but with Membership, that dream has become a fun, exciting and rewarding reality. We have also treated a friend and his family to a pixie-dusted vacation at our Home Resort, and I'm thrilled to help you spread the magic!

    I think you will be excited to hear that you can absolutely book a stay at your Home Resort or any DVC Resort for your friends without you even being there! Just book the stay at your Home Resort on the DVC website, just as you do normally, and when you get to the "Add Guest Information" page, just enter your friends' names, instead of yours. You will notice that under each Guest, there is a box that you can check that states, "This Guest is not a Disney Vacation Club Member." Just be sure to check that box under each non-Member Guest and add your friend's contact information, including their address, phone number and email address, instead of yours. Continue to the confirmation page to complete the reservation, and there you have it! Your friends have now been pixie-dusted! 

    Just be sure to send your friends the reservation number to keep on hand when checking in and if the stay is at Walt Disney World Resort, so that they can link their magical Resort reservation to their My Disney Experience account. Let the magic begin!
