Another member is joining us at the park, but on the day we reserved for magic kingdom it says there is no availability. what can i do about this?

Hi there, Christina. It looks like your trip is right around the corner. I hope you are having as much fun in the planning stage as I typically do.

One of the more challenging aspects of planning a Disney vacation this year is the requirement that Guests have both valid admission tickets and a theme park reservation. Because capacity is limited in the theme parks right now, those reservations can book up well in advance, especially during busier times of the year. It sounds like that is what you are experiencing when trying to add an additional Guest.

Unfortunately, the only solution I can recommend is keeping a very close eye on the Theme Park Availability Calendar. If you check it several times each day, you may be able to score a reservation that another Guest has cancelled.

If that doesn’t work out, perhaps your added Guest could occupy his or her time in another theme park and meet up with the rest of the traveling party later in the evening? I can tell you from experience that solo time in Disney theme parks can open one’s eyes to a whole new world of attractions and entertainment.

I’m wishing all of you luck in scoring that reservation, Christina, and an overall amazing trip.
