Hey there, Elizabeth!
Your question certainly has a lot of character! Meeting classic friends and new heroes is one of the most amazing parts of visiting the Disneyland Resort. Let's make sure you can hug and high-five everyone on your list!
There are some incredible
character dining opportunities at the Disneyland Resort! Two character meals are hosted by either Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse:
- Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is hosted by the main mouse himself! Mickey and his pals have delicious waffles (Mickey-shaped, of course) and other breakfast favorites ready for you to enjoy. I especially love that this dining option is outside the parks so you can enjoy breakfast with friends without a park ticket.
- Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park is at the charming Plaza Inn on Main Street, U.S.A. with beautiful views, tons of yummy food, and a great variety of characters stopping by your table to say hello. Talk about a magical morning!
Reservations for both of these dining events are highly recommended and usually open 60 days in advance. Of course, you can also meet Mickey and Minnie at their homes in
Mickey's Toontown! Their homes are full of such fun (and funny) details about their lives. Take your time, because there's a lot to explore!
When it comes to Elsa and our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, you'll want to head over to Disney California Adventure Park. You'll find the Frozen sisters at
Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome in Hollywood Land. They'll definitely have a warm hug for you! When you're ready to catch up with the amazing Spider-Man you should head for Avengers Campus. Check the
entertainment schedule to see when you can watch Spider-Man test his incredible suit by flying over campus! You can also find his testing schedule in the
Disneyland Mobile App by opening the map, selecting "Entertainment" and tapping on the icon near WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Spidey usually has a few minutes to swing down for a quick greeting after his flight test.
There are lots of other
character experiences across the parks, too! One of my favorites is
Turtle Talk with Crush (in the same building where you'll meet Anna and Elsa) because Crush always has the best conversations with his guests. Whether he's imparting cool ocean knowledge of his own or learning from the little squirts on the kelp floor you'll totally be entertained, dude!
Have so much fun during your park visit, Elizabeth! I still get a little teary-eyed when I get to see our magical friends, and I know they'll be so happy to see you.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
