We are meeting up with friends in Disney World and arriving 1 day before them Can I book fast passes for the group when we are 60 days out or do I need to wait 1 more day for the whole group to be in the 60-day period? We are all staying in property.

    Hi, Stephanie!

Oh, my goodness, you are in for such a treat meeting up with friends at Walt Disney World

When Guests stay at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, they have the perk of being able to make FastPass+ plans at 60 days prior to arrival, rather than the usual 30 days. Even better? Guests can make those FastPass+ plans for their length of stay, rather than having to do so for each day at its 60 day mark.

Because your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation begins one day earlier than your friends' reservation, you will be able to make your FastPass+ plans for your entire visit a day earlier than you can make theirs. I suggest that you do so, securing all of your favorites for each day of your trip. Then, the next morning, go back into your My Disney Experience account and make their FastPass+ plans to match yours. (You may do so at 7:00 AM Eastern Time, so I suggest that you be online and ready to book just a bit prior to that.) Remember, your FastPass+ plans don't need to be exact, they just need to overlap, so if you have a 10:00 AM FastPass+ for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, and could only get one for them at 10:15 AM, your entire party can enter together from 10:15 until 11:00, as you all have a one hour window to enter.

You can also go back and update the times of your FastPass+ plans as other Guests adjust their plans, too. What may not be available today may be available tomorrow as Guests fine-tune their touring and dining options for each day.

Happy planning, Stephanie! Be sure to send us more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
