Hi! We are meeting family at Disney in May. I have a great neice who is one and a half years old. What you you reccomend as far as attractions and character meals for her? Thanks in advance!

    Hello Jacqueline,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!

The first resource that I would recommend for you would be the Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page. There, you’ll find all kinds of great recommendations for planning a magical trip with your great niece, as well as some great attraction suggestions. One attraction that unexpectedly delighted my son at that age was it’s a small world, but almost everything in Fantasyland made him smile and giggle. He also really loved the Affection Section at Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Some of my son’s favourite character meals are, in no particular order: The Garden Grill at Epcot, Disney Junior Play & Dine at Hollywood and Vine (breakfast or lunch) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If your great niece is princess-crazy, I would recommend 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
