Can you meet Sofia the first?

Greetings, Allysia, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’d love to help you plan your magical adventures!

Sofia the First has been on-hand for meet-and-greets in Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure Park in the past, but it appears she may currently be enjoying some time in Enchancia. However, Fancy Nancy has been known to make “magnifique” appearances for meet-and-greets in this same area, so I recommend keeping your eyes peeled for her! I also recommend downloading the Disneyland app so you can keep track of showtimes and Characters for the day. To find your favorite Characters, tap on the map at the top, then select “Characters” from the drop-down menu. Next, tap on “Show List” in the upper-right corner for a list of all Characters currently available for meet-and-greets. You’ll see the Character’s picture, name, and location. This list will change throughout the day, so keep checking it to see which Characters are available at different times of day! I also recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for any updates regarding Sofia the First and her plans for returning to the parks in the future!

My children also love meeting Frozen favorites Anna and Elsa at Anna & Elsa’s Royal Welcome in the Disney Animation Building. This is such a special Character interaction, because both Anna and Elsa take the time to have a wonderful conversation with Guests before posing for pictures and signing autographs. Over on Pixar Pier, my children also enjoy meeting Bo Peep. Some of their favorite attractions on Pixar Pier include Jessie’s Critter Carousel, Toy Story Midway Mania!, and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, which are all suitable for your daughter, too.

Last, but not least, be sure to check out the Baby Care Centers – there’s one in each park! You can find the Disney California Adventure Park location on Pacific Wharf. This is the perfect spot to change or feed your little Mouseketeer, or purchase any necessities you may have forgotten.

Here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day, so you can start mapping out your magical plans! Please stop by with any additional questions you have, Allysia... I'm all EARs!

    Wishing you Disney magic,
    Kristin
