Hiya Logan,
Welcome to planDisney! All of my visits to the Most Magical Place on Earth are special, but one of my favorites was when I set out to meet every Disney Princess who was available during my three-day trip. It took a lot of coordination to make sure I could meet them all, but it was so amazing just getting to interact with each one. I now have a toddler princess, and I know we will be taking on that challenge again one day.
Now let’s talk about Raya. As one of the rarer character greetings, she is not always available for meet-and-greets (and when I checked the mobile app today, she did not pop up). I did manage to see her at the
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade at Magic Kingdom a few weeks ago, but it was not a designated meet-and-greet. I’ve also heard that sometimes she surprises Guests at EPCOT, but this isn’t a regularly scheduled appearance. Last year, during
Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, Raya actually made an appearance in Adventureland and was meeting Guests across from
Jungle Navigation Co., LTD Skipper Canteen, and with the return of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER this year, I’m hoping she will again. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but I’m hoping she makes an appearance this year as well. For now, Raya’s appearances will just remain a surprise.

My Disney Experience mobile app. Open the map by selecting the map icon (the second option at the bottom of the screen). Then, at the top of your screen, select “Characters.” Finally, click the “Show List” option in the bottom right-hand corner and see if Raya is on the list.
