Where can we meet Moana in February 2018??

    Hi Leila,

Thank you for bringing your question about Moana to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Moana’s adventurous spirit, perseverance, and beautiful ability to connect to others makes her a wonderful role model and one of my favorite Disney characters, and I can’t wait for my children (okay, and me too) to be able to meet her in the parks.

As of right now, Moana must be out wayfinding, as she isn’t available to meet guests at Walt Disney World. While no one knows how far she’ll go, I’m wishing and hoping that the line where the sky meets the castle calls her soon! Character experiences at Walt Disney World can change at any time, so here’s hoping Moana is back soon.

In the meantime, my favorite way to catch a glimpse of Moana is in Magic Kingdom Park’s Happily Ever After fireworks. There is an absolutely breathtaking scene involving Moana, and it brings me to tears every time. Be sure to pick up a Times Guide as you enter the park so you’ll “know the way” to experience that amazing nighttime spectacular.

Leila, my favorite way to stay on top of announcements about changes in the parks is by following the Disney Parks Blog on social media. If and when Moana’s coming back, I bet you’ll see an announcement there.

    Have a magical vacation!
