Hi, Maria! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Unfortunately, the seas have called Moana away on another way-finding adventure, so she is currently unable to visit with guests at the Walt Disney World Resort. Although Moana is not greeting guests at this time,
character appearances do change often, so be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest Walt Disney World Resort news.
Although there is currently not a Moana character experience at the Walt Disney World Resort, I would be happy to suggest some ways that the Moana fans in your family can feel closer to their favorite Polynesian adventurer. Be sure to check out the
Happily Ever After Fireworks at
Magic Kingdom Park. The song, "How Far I'll Go," is featured prominently in this spectacular show, as are some beautiful Moana projections on
Cinderella Castle. In my opinion, attending the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing gives you the best spot from which to take in this epic show.
I think Moana fans will also enjoy visiting
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, be sure to stop by
Pineapple Lanai. Although menu items are always subject to change, Pineapple Lanai is currently serving the Te Fiti Cone, lime soft-serve garnished with an orchid and served in a green cone. If you're looking for Moana merchandise, the
Moana Mercantile store at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has a great selection. During your visit to this resort hotel, I would also highly recommend attending
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
