Hi there Mia!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't tell you how thrilled I am to hear your daughter is so interested in learning about Walt Disney Imagineering and the processes in which imagination and creativity combine to create what we enjoy so much at Disney Parks. I have recently been more and more intrigued with Disney Imagineers and the work and details that go into creating so many magical experiences for Guests. I love that I can walk around the Disneyland Resort and still never see all the creative touches that are laid out by Imagineers for Guests to discover.
At the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida there are experiences called "
Dine with an Imagineer" where you can make a reservation for a group dinner with one of Disney's creative Imagineers. This would be the perfect experience for your daughter to ask as many questions as she would like. At this time this experience doesn't exist at the Disneyland Resort. Sometimes there are
D23: The Official Disney Fan Club events in the Southern California area such as the
D23 Expo where you can come face to face with Disney Imagineers, Disney Legends, or learn more about the creative processes and history of Disney Parks.
I truly hope your daughter's dreams come true so that she can learn from these amazing and creative individuals. I hope you have a magical day!
