Where and when can I meet and greet Joy and Sadness. My trip is in September

    Hi Jim!

Thanks for bringing this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort will be here before you know it!

I'm happy to let you know that you can meet Joy and Sadness at Epcot. The Epcot Character Spot provides direct access to Headquarters, where you can journey through Riley's long-term memory in the queue before joining Joy and Sadness at the console. There are two sides to the Epcot Character Spot. On one side, you will find the entrance to meet Joy and Sadness (as well as Baymax). On the other side, you'll find the entrance to meet Mickey Mouse and friends. There are signs above the entrances, so it will be easy to find the correct spot.

Quick Tip: At this time, there is a FastPass+ selection for the Epcot Character Spot, but it is only for the entrance featuring Mickey Mouse and friends. Currently, there is no FastPass+ available to meet Joy and Sadness (or Baymax). To avoid a long wait, I suggest heading straight to Headquarters when Epcot opens!

I hope this helps with your planning, Jim! Please stop back again with any other questions about your upcoming trip.

    Wishing you many magical memories!
