Hi Jennie!
Walt Disney World is so festive during the holidays! The parks are decked out in zillions of twinkling lights, thousands of bright red poinsettias, and hundreds of brilliantly decorated Christmas trees. I adore the Mickey shaped wreaths that adorn the lampposts.
Of course Santa loves to visit Walt Disney World! I hear he is a fan of Dole Whips and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. You can typically see him in
Epcot riding through World Showcase in his carriage, in
Disney's Hollywood Studios cruising in a red convertible, and I've heard he floats down the river in
Disney's Animal Kingdom. The
Disney Parks Blog has stated that guests will be able to
wave and say hello and share their Christmas wishes with Santa in the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, but we don't yet have any details. In years past, Santa and Mrs. Claus could be found in Epcot's American Pavilion. Also look for Santas- from Pere Noel to Father Christmas-from other lands around the World Showcase.
Disney Springs is offering a
Santa Experience at Once Upon a Toy with
Disney PhotoPass photographers on hand to take pictures. Since it's indoors, a mask is required. There will be a virtual queue to cut down on waiting in line.
Wishing you a very merry visit to see Mickey!
