    Is there a meet and great for Moana?

    Hello Daniel! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    When my family saw Disney's Moana on the big screen in December 2016, my kids were hooked. My children would dance around and sing the songs in the living room and my little boy pretended to be Maui for about 2 weeks.

    I had also heard that Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort would be able to Meet Disney's newest heroine at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park.

    At that point, I booked a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for the family to stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and to meet Moana in person. Unfortunately, the seas called Moana back to the sea in April 2017, well before our vacation and the opportunity to meet Moana slipped away.

    Currently, there is no schedule for when Moana might return to Walt Disney World Resort to meet with her many admirers. However, due to her popularity I am convinced that she will be returning in the near future. I recommend that you check the Disney Parks Blog or the Character Experiences posted on the Walt Disney World site occasionally as the announcement of Moana's return will be big news and sure to be posted as soon as it is availability.
