Hi. Where can we meet the Disney Princesses besides inside Royal Hall? I hear the lines get long to meet them inside.

Hi there, Andrea! Welcome back to planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. I understand how long lines, especially with little ones, can be overwhelming when they are eager to meet Cinderella or Belle! My little guy is still understanding the concept waiting to see his favorites, Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater over at Cars Land. Fear not! I can guide you to a wonderful alternative for meeting our beloved Disney princesses outside of Royal Hall.

Nestled in the Trillium Room at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a place where dreams come true during a splendid three-course breakfast or luncheon. While Napa Rose is temporarily closed for refurbishment at the moment, this character dining experience is being delightfully hosted in the Trillium Room.

As you enjoy Tiana’s Famous Beignets or Ariel’s Dinglehopper Vanilla Cake Pops, Disney Princesses will welcome you, share in your hopes and dreams, and pose for memorable photos. You can also join Belle for story time or practice some brave warrior moves with Mulan. These enchanting princess encounters, enjoyed alongside a delicious meal, offer a wonderful way to skip the wait. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, so be sure to book as early as possible!

Character dining is also a great way for everyone to meet beloved favorites like Minnie Mouse and Pluto while sampling the magical bites that the Disneyland Resort has to offer. In addition to dining and dancing away with the princesses, you can also pop on over to Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or Plaza Inn inside Disneyland Park where all happen to offer character dining. My little guy loves munching away on Mickey Waffles at Plaza Inn while playing peek-a-boo with Winnie the Pooh!

Andrea, I hope this answer was helpful as you continue planning your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. No matter which location you choose, character dining is a wonderful way to meet beloved Disney friends while enjoying delicious food. If you have any more questions before then, planDisney is always here to help!
