How do we meet Captain Hook at Walt Disney World, Orlando. We will be there in Feb. 2012. It's a huge request from my 4 year old.

    Hi there, Tracy!

Captain James A. Hook is definitely a fan favorite! Well, except within the crocodile community, that is.

When you are at the Magic Kingdom, head over to Adventureland. That's home to Captain Hook, his First Mate Mister Smee, his nemesis Peter Pan, and the lovely Wendy. You can find Hook right across from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, adjacent to the Pirate Tutorial stage. Be sure to check the daily Times Guide for his schedule.

Try to catch "Dream Along with Mickey" on the Castle stage (multiple performances daily, all noted in the Times Guide). Hook and Smee join forces with the wicked Maleficent as she plots to turn Magic Kingdom to The Place Where Nightmares Come True.

You'll also find the Captain in the "Celebrate a Dream Come True" afternoon parade, held most days at 3:00 PM (weather permitting).

Disney's Hollywood Studios offers a nighttime spectacular called Fantasmic! in which many villains - including Hook - make appearances.

While you're at the Magic Kingdom consider heading to the Pirates' League. Your little one will be made up like a pirate, learn the pirate code, and receive his pirate name. The packages may be found online, and you can call (407) WDW-CREW to reserve your spot aboard!

Have a wonderful time, me hearties!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
