Hi Shelly,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Since my family is always on a budget, this is one of my favorite topics to discuss!
Since your budget is about $250 per night, I suggest you check the Value and Moderate Resort Hotels for the exact dates of your visit. Typically, the
Value Resort Hotels are most affordable but I have found good deals on the
Moderate Resort Hotels as well. I just recently stayed at Disney's
All Star Sports Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. At both, I had a standard room. I love the decor of the rooms at both resorts and the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation is FABULOUS. With moderate resort hotels, we like Disney's Port Orleans Resort -
French Quarter or
Riverside. Both are lovely.
If you have any flexibility with your dates, try checking a few different weeks. Prices can fluctuate depending on the time of year. We traveled toward the end of August one year, the week before our girls went back to school, because the prices were lower than the dates I checked for June.
Shelly, as you price your vacation options, remember to also price the vacation with tickets and check dining plan prices. We typically get a
dining plan because it works well for our family.
Happy Planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
