Hi Faith!
Thanks for your question.
I completely understand your concern. We are a family of 4, and I think each of us has some type of medicine that we have to take either once or multiple times throughout the day while at the
theme parks. Rest assured though! Entering
Disney World isn't the same as the bag check line at the airport (where your prescription(s) has to be in the bottle, clearly show your name and Rx name, and perhaps even be accompanied with a written doctor's note). We place our medicine that we need to take for the entire day in small
pill reminder containers and place it in our bags. Your bag will indeed get checked before park entry, but we've never had a problem with our medicines being in a pill reminder. Now, if you have medicine that must stay cool during the day (such as insulin), place a small cooler pack next to the insulin and place in a sealed bag. They may or may not check the contents inside, but you want to make sure that it stays cool, especially in the balmy Florida weather. There is also generally a
Nurse's Station at every theme park, usually not far from the park's entrance. For larger medicines, we've been able to check our medicines into them, so we wouldn't need to carry throughout the park all day. Just remember to pick your medicine back up before leaving the park! :-)
Have a Mickey Magical Day!
