I have a medically ceetified emotional support dog ( 15 lb chi mix) and need to bring him with me during my stay in Ft. Wilderness cabins. Who do I send the paperwork to prior to my arrival?

Hi Cathy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You’re going to have a wonderful stay with your doggy at the Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! My dogs made themselves right at home during our last visit there!

Before your arrival, you can always reach out to a Cast Member in Disability Services about your service animal, by calling (407) 560-2547 or you can send them an email at disability.services@disneyparks.com. Just let them know that you will be bringing your support dog with you and a note will be added to your reservation.

Within the last year, the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort has added a new pet friendly policy. Which means you may see other furry friends on property during your stay. I’m sure you won’t have a problem with any of the accommodations, because there’s plenty of room to spread out at your cabin. My dogs Bruno and Buster loved their stay at our cabin this past December. The porch was their favorite place to people watch, while we grilled up lunch during our stay!

When you check-in, you can give the Cast Member your dog’s documentation. There may be just a few forms to fill out before you can be on your way to enjoy your welcoming, frontier themed resort.

Cathy, I hope you’ll make some time to enjoy the many recreation activities at your resort during your stay, like Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. It’s a rootin’ tootin’ good time!

    Have a magical visit!
