Ahoy Jonathan!
What WONDERful news that you will be sailing with Captain Mickey! That’s a marvelous way to start 2022, I say. Even better, it gives you a chance to escape the winter cold for a much warmer climate!
In the case of the
Disney Cruise Line dress code, I have seen Guests wearing strapless and sleeveless clothing and have even sported those outfits and dresses myself. What they are trying to avoid is someone wearing a tank-style shirt that is super casual and more like what you would see on the beach over on Castaway Cay. It’s called “cruise casual” not “beach casual” for a reason!
However, I usually choose sleeved clothes since I am more sensitive to the temperatures indoors, especially at dinner during our
rotational dining and the live shows in the
Walt Disney Theatre. I also like to bring a light sweater or throw I can put on in case I get chilly. So factor that into your dinner attire and pack enough clothing so that you have options. That’s always my justification for packing too much-I want to have choices!
Jonathan, I hope that your Disney vacation is an absolute DREAM! Message us again if we can be helpful with any other planning needs.
Happy Sailing!
