Hi, Adora!
Thank you for visiting us with your
Disneyland Resort question. I hope you’re getting excited for your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. There is something extra magical about exploring the theme parks during the
holiday season, and what a wonderful anniversary tradition you and your husband have!
In the past, the Candlelight Processional at Disneyland Park has had seating for invited Guests only, and I expect this year’s event to follow suit. There are typically no dining packages, ticket sign-ups or standby lines for park Guests to officially attend. Those who wait in Town Square can get a good view of the show, but, as you have probably experienced in the past, this involves waiting on Main Street for quite a while to snag a curbside spot. If you’re interested in getting a glimpse of the Candlelight Processional at Disneyland Park, but not spending too much time saving your spot, the choir usually comes down the Main Street, U.S.A. parade route on their way to the stage. Guests who line the curb shortly before the event begins can enjoy a small but lovely part of this unique experience.
Both theme parks will have lots of holiday-themed decor, attractions, food and entertainment to help you get in the holiday spirit. At Disneyland Park, highlights include Haunted Mansion Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and the “Believe...In Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular. After the fireworks, "snow" falls in the skies as a special seasonal treat! At Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll want to experience Disney Festival of Holidays and the special holiday decor and attractions in Cars Land.
I hope this helps, Adora. Please write back with any other questions you can dream of!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
