Hi Leanne!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the idea of booking a last-minute voyage to paradise! You'll be planning up a storm over the next three weeks and then before you know it, it will be embarkation day and your family will be dancing with Captain Mickey during the Sail-Away Celebration!
Castaway Cay is one of my favorite ports of call! I'm so excited that you're looking into an itinerary that stops there. You can look forward to delicious meals on the island that are all included with your cruise fare! You will have the opportunity to dine at three restaurants while on the island: Cookies BBQ, Cookies Too and Serenity Bay BBQ (located on the adults-only beach and only for Guests 18 years of age and older).
I love looking through
Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures offered for each port of call. Since you are looking to book a voyage setting sail in three weeks, you will likely need to pay for your cruise in full upon booking. Typically, Guests are able to see Port Adventure availability once their cruise is paid in full and their advance booking window opens. For first-time cruisers, that window is 75 days prior to setting sail. Since I believe you'll need to pay for your upcoming cruise that sets sail in three weeks in full, and you'll be well within that time frame, you should be able to see Port Adventure availability immediately once you've booked and paid for your cruise!
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation is a magical way to travel to and from Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral. Ground transfers currently cost $35.00 per person, each way. (Please know that prices are always subject to change.)
Leanne, I'm wishing you a cruise filled with pixie dust and memories!
Beth
