Marianne from CA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Can a meal be shared at the Blue Bayou? If yes, is there a charge for that?

    Hiya, Marianne! Where y'at?

Inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, you’ll find the finest Cajun and Creole cuisine in New Orleans Square. Mmm! I can taste the Jambalaya and the refreshing Mint Julep now! Yes, you are welcome to split a meal at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. The current split plate charge is $12.50. Note that prices are subject to change. You may also be interested in making dining reservations for a Fantasmic! Dining Package at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. You’ll enjoy both an amazing culinary delight inside the restaurant and a phenomenal stage show outside at the Rivers of America. That’s a win-win in my book! Just note that if you happen to elect to split a dining package meal, it would allow for only one guest to get a special FASTPASS for the reserved viewing area for the show.

The Blue Bayou Restaurants is one of my family’s favorite dining locations at the Disneyland Resort. Even though I occasionally get opportunities to visit the parks while traveling alone, I choose not to go to the Blue Bayou when I am by myself. That’s because it’s so special to my family, that I want to keep some activities reserved for sharing when I’m together with them. What special experiences will you and your party find together at the Disneyland Resort? Perhaps a favorite attraction or show? Maybe a special snack that brings back fond memories? There are plenty of yummy snacks that I’d like to try still! I love the joy of taking in an awesome nighttime spectacular while surrounded by my loved ones.

I’m sure you’ll find those special moments and memories, both in New Orleans Square and beyond!

Laissez les bon temps rouler, Marianne!
