Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Yvonne!
What a great question!
When touring
Walt Disney World while using a
Disney Dining Plan, you'll find Dining Plan-eligible items clearly marked at Quick-Service, food cart and select merchandise locations. Just look for the DDP symbol next to any item you are interested in purchasing. If it's a single item available at a cart, for example, and that symbol is posted on the menu/sign next to that item, it may be available as a snack on your Disney Dining Plan.
To get a better idea of what items count as snacks on the Dining Plan, take a look at locations that are listed on Walt Disney World's website; once you click on the name of a location that looks interesting, glance to the right of that page. If you see "Some Dining Plans Accepted", you may find that some of their offerings are eligible as snacks on the Dining Plan.
For specific, unofficial, information about Dining Plans, head over to the very helpful AllEars.Net. In their search bar, enter "Dining Plan Snacks", which will bring you a list of great posts on the best use of Dining Plan entitlements. Several include an unofficial list of food cart menus, noting which items are available as a snack on a Dining Plan, too. For example, there, I can click on Aloha Isle Snacks (in
Magic Kingdom Park's Adventureland), and see that the fan-favorite Dole Whip Float counts as a Dining Plan snack. At
Disney's Hollywood Studios, a Mickey Pretzel (available at Studios Popcorn, on Hollywood Boulevard) counts as a snack, too.
