We have a meal plan. Is gratuity included in the bill or can we add gratuity via magic band or gift card?

Hello Samantha and thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a delicious Disney Dining question!
I'm a huge fan of all the Disney Dining Plans because enjoying good food and seeking out indulgent Disney treats make up a big part of my trips to Walt Disney World Resort and with the Disney Dining Plan I love the absolute convenience of knowing my meals, drinks and snacks are all prepaid before my arrival.
I'm happy to share that at present gratuities are not included within the Disney Dining Plans and will be added to your total bill, however this currently excludes all Dinner Shows, Private In-room Dining and at Cinderella's Royal Table where gratuity is already included.
You'll be pleased to know gratuities and indeed any other Disney purchases can be paid by cash, credit card, Disney Visa Premier CardDisney Gift Card or via MagicBand for Guests who are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and have previously linked a valid credit card to their My Disney Experience account.
Wishing you a magical upcoming stay at Walt Disney World Resort.
