Hi Mary!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I enjoy using the
Disney Dining Plans on most of my visits to Walt Disney World. I love the flexibility, convenience and great value that they offer. With every Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, Disney Dining Plan, or Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, guests of three years of age and over, will each receive a refillable drink mug that can be used for refills at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations only at Disney Resort hotels. A good tip for when you are dining at a Disney Resort hotel is that you may refill your mug before your meal (at the Quick-Service location), and then use your dining plan beverage entitlement for a bottle of water to take away with you. There are no self-service beverage islands at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, but you can refill your mugs with water from the water fountains or ask for a complimentary cup of iced water at any of the Quick-Service restaurants in the parks. While at the parks with my family, I always carry a lightweight backpack, into which I put any drinks, snacks and park essentials, and these can easily be stowed on any ride, either on my seat or in the elasticated seat pocket in front of you (on the wilder rides such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, or Expedition Everest). Please remember to close the lid on your refillable mug!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World.
