Is the meal deal worth the price and do you use it

    Hi Billy,

One of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the opportunity to enjoy fantastic dining. In fact, many of Disney's Signature Dining restaurants are, hands down, some of the top meals that my family has enjoyed anywhere. Disney Dining Plans make it super easy to plan for the meal portion of your vacation budget. With your meals pre-paid, you don't have to worry about keeping track of how much you are spending on each meal. In order to get the most out of your Disney Dining Plan, you should be sure to make your Advanced Dining Reservations for popular table service restaurants 180-days ahead of your vacation. Personally, I feel that both the regular Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan are both worth the price because there aren't limits on what you can order. If my family wants to enjoy filet mignon at Le Cellier Steakhouse, they can do so. However, I feel that we can often eat for less on our own than on the Quick-Service Dining Plan. Whether or not we choose to purchase the Disney Dining Plan depends a lot on how long our vacation is, what dining reservations we are able to secure, and where we are staying. For example, if we are using our Disney Vacation Club membership to rent a Deluxe Villa with a full kitchen, we often dine in the room for several meals and opt out of the dining plans for those trips.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

    Wishing you magical memories,

    Kaylene
