Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party

Does the MDE work for MVMCP? Accurate wait times for attractions and characters? If I want to be first in line (4pm), what time should I be dropped off by? Taking monorail from TTC. Also, do they have the celebration buttons? Where to pick up from?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle! You’re going to love all the new entertainment at this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

The My Disney Experience app will give you wait times for attractions and character experiences during the spook-tacular party, so you won’t have to worry! If you want to be first in line, try to get dropped off at the TTC around 3:30 p.m. After going through the security line and hopping on the monorail, you should be standing right in front of the Magic Kingdom Park entrance and ready to go by 4:00 p.m., with a few minutes to spare!

You can pick up celebration buttons at any Guest Relations location, ticket window, Will Call or many shops all around the resort. You can also pick one up at the Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel before you head out for the day!

Michelle, when it comes to arriving at the Magic Kingdom Park for the Halloween party, make sure to let the Cast Member at the entrance know that you’d like to use your party ticket to enter and not a regular theme park ticket, that may be linked to your My Disney Experience account.

Speaking of attractions and character experiences, did you know that you can make FastPass+ selections from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.? I know that you can because I’ve been able to do it myself during special ticketed events! It’s a really great way to get the most value out of your special event ticket!

For a sneak peek at all of the new nighttime entertainment you can enjoy during your not-so-scary visit, take a look at this Disney Parks Blog post. The blog is also an awesome way to keep tabs on all things Disney!
