Boo to you, Victoria!
Welcome, foolish mortal, to planDisney, and thank you so much for sending us your question today! Wow, Victoria, you picked such a spooky time to come and visit, and I am so excited for you to experience all the Halloween fun. But don't worry, it's just a bunch of Hocus Pocus!
Thankfully, you will not need a magic book and spells to have your reservations on your own account. The first step is to ensure that you are linked to each other's Family & Friends Lists. To do so, click on "
My Family & Friends" and "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your list. Then, click on "I'll enter their name and age" and make sure to enter the email that is connected to your fiancé's
My Disney Experience account. Second, your fiancé can reassign the theme park ticket from the profile he created for you to your profile. You can find all your tickets in his account's "My Plans" section by clicking on "Tickets & Memory Maker." To reassign your other reservations to the correct profiles, however, I recommend reaching out to a Cast Member via chat, email or phone, as it can get trickier, especially if you do not get the option on your account. Finally, my biggest tip to know which profile is the right one, I would recommend that you change your profile picture in your own account to your favourite character.
Now, Victoria, I am sure you know that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. The Halloween parties truly make your Disney vacations so unique and I could not be more excited that it is finally back! I mean, what could possibly be more magical than getting dressed up and trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom Park? However, the Halloween fun doesn't have to stop after your Halloween party! One of my favourite things to do during the Halloween season is to try all the fall treats available around the Resort. You will be able to find festive treats around the Resort, but one of my favourites was the Pumpkin Mousse from the Trolley Car Cafe at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you would like to get a quick break from the business of the theme parks, however, I highly suggest that you visit Gasparilla Island Grill at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. This quick-service food and beverage not only has great meals (and even better mac and cheese), but it also usually has a selection of adorable, seasonal treats!
I hope this was helpful, Victoria, and that you and your fiancé will have the best day ever on your next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. Much like grim grinning ghosts, we love to come out and socialize!
Happy Halloween,
Ariane
