Hey there, Billy, and a warm welcome to planDisney!
I’m sorry that your
My Disney Experience app decided to pull a disappearing act. Technology has a knack for adding a little “plot twist” right when we’re in the middle of planning magic, doesn’t it? But don’t worry, I’ve got a few trusty tricks to help get that app back on your Home Screen where it belongs.
First, make sure the app isn’t just playing hide-and-seek. Sometimes when you uninstall it, it doesn’t fully disappear but slips into your App Library. Try swiping left on your Home Screen until you reach the App Library, then type “Disney World” in the search bar. If it pops up, just press and hold the icon to drag it back to your Home Screen.
If it’s not there, check whether your phone thinks it’s still installed. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and scroll until you find “Disney World.” If it’s listed, delete it from there to clear out any digital cobwebs, then return to the App Store to reinstall. You should see the “Install” or cloud icon reappear.
Still stuck? A quick restart of your phone or signing out and back into your Apple ID can also give that app a little nudge to cooperate.
And if your digital magic wand still isn’t working, don’t hesitate to call
Disney’s help line. They’re pros at sprinkling a little extra technical pixie dust when things get tricky.
Here’s wishing you a smooth re-download and a happily-ever-after with your app. May your next tap be as seamless as a magic carpet ride!
