Hi, Christine, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! You're visiting Walt Disney World Resort during my favorite time of year, Spring! With it comes more sunshine, warmer temperatures, and (best of all in my opinion) the EPCOT
International Flower & Garden Festival. I love how the
Disney Skyliner makes hopping between Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT a (literal) breeze when I'm spending my day at Hollywood Studios but also want to enjoy a few tasty EPCOT festival treats midday before boarding a
FriendShip Boat to wrap up the evening at Hollywood Studios. The neon lights of Hollywood and Sunset Boulevards, the twinkle of Christmas bulbs in
Andy's Backyard, and the glow of lightsabers in
Batuu make
Disney's Hollywood Studios one of Walt Disney World's most beautiful nighttime destinations, so let's make sure you've got ample time to enjoy it!
I just checked the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World website as well as the 'Park Hours & Info' tab in the
My Disney Experience mobile app for your dates, and both are currently indicating Disney's Hollywood Studios will close at 9:30 PM on April 2. While this is currently the stated time of park closing, park hours are subject to change, so I would check back as the date approaches to see if any updates have been made.
Since you're planning to spend an evening at Hollywood Studios, I hope you'll make time to check out my favorite nighttime show,
Fantasmic! It combines scenes and music from Disney classics and more modern tales into an epic display of imagination and wonder. I never make it to the conclusion of the show without tears in my eyes and a feeling that anything is possible. If you're hoping to secure guaranteed seating for the event, the
Fantasmic! Dining Packages provide a great way to ensure you're able to end the day well-fed and entertained.
I hope this was helpful, Christine, and that you have a magical vacation filled with moments that become lifelong memories. If you have any additional questions as it approaches, feel free to
stop back by. Hakuna Matata! I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
