Hi, we'll take ME from MCO to OKW, then after our stay will rent a car to drive to the gulf coast and fly home from Tampa. Do we need to go back to MCO to rent a car or can we rent one from the DW car rental place & drop off at Tampa airport?

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about rental cars at Walt Disney World Resort. There is absolutely no need for you to return to Orlando International Airport to rent a car for your drive down to Tampa. There is a Car Care Center near Magic Kingdom Park where you can rent a car from either Alamo Rent-A-Car or National Car Rental. The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort also has a desk where you can rent cars from National and Alamo. I suggest that you go online to price out a one-way rental from Walt Disney World Resort to Tampa International Airport. Check online for discount codes for your rental car. That often makes a noticeable difference in price when you reserve your car.

Another option would be to rent a car from Enterprise. They have a rental desk at B Resort on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. That is just a short walk from Disney Springs.

Enjoy your vacation at Disney's Old Key West Resort, and if you find yourself near the Gurgling Suitcase, please enjoy a Turtle Krawl for me!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
