Is there a way to get McDonald’s delivered to the cabins at fort wilderness? My 5 year is autistic and will basically only eat fast food chicken nuggets so I’m worried about him eating while we visit.

Hey there, Hallie. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I really enjoy staying in The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. In fact, it's our annual Christmas tradition to stay there! The full kitchen in the cabins is a great addition, especially if you have picky eaters. Did you know you can preorder groceries and have them delivered directly to your cabin? The order form is extensive! All you have to do is print and fill out the form and email, fax or mail it back. Orders must be received at least 3 days prior to your arrival to allow for processing. On the order form, you'll find kid favorites like doughnuts, mac and cheese, deli meats, chips and more! Also, there are plenty of places to pick up something to eat at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort that might appeal to your son. My daughter loves all meals at Trail's End Restaurant. Pizza, fried chicken, ribs, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, soups and an ice cream sundae bar are just some of the items you'll find on the buffet. It really is finger-lickin' good. Also, you son might like options at  The Chuck Wagon. On the menu there, you'll find options like a hot dog and fries, chicken nuggets, burgers and salads. This might be a perfect place to try out while you are there. If nothing else will do, there is a McDonald's on Walt Disney World property. It's located near Disney's All-Star Resorts at the corner of Buena Vista Drive and Osceola Parkway. I don't know if they deliver but you could always go to there. If you don't have a vehicle with you on vacation, it is only a short taxi or rideshare service ride away.

I hope this helps, Hallie. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask. Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
